BISO (International Biennial of Sculpture of Ouagadougou) is the first event dedicated to the promotion of African contemporary sculptors in Africa. The ambition of BISO is to present to the art lovers and the art market actors (curators, galleries, collectors, journalists, etc.) the quality and variety of African contemporary sculpture and to consolidate its place on the art market.
AKAA - Also Known as Africa, the only fair of contemporary art and design in France centered on Africa and its diasporas, returns for the fourth consecutive year to Carreau du Temple, from 9 to 11 November 2019. The 2019 edition will host 44 exhibitors, with new galleries from Germany, the Netherlands and Mali.
The 21st edition of ART INTERNATIONAL ZURICH will take place from 26 to 29 September 2019 at Puls 5 Zurich. This is a public exhibition of promotion and trade. The 16th Istanbul Biennale, organized by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (IKSV), will take place from 14 September to 10 November 2019. The historian, curator and academic Nicolas Bourriaud is the curator of this 16th edition , which is entitled "The Seventh Continent" and will take place in three locations: Tersane Istanbul, the Pera Museum and the island of Buyukada.
The third edition of the international contemporary art fair will take place at Expo Beaulieu Lausanne on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th of May 2019. We will present about 80 international galleries, selected by our committee, from around the world. Passionate art lovers and collectors will find happiness among the paintings, sculptures and photographs presented.
The 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair will feature 24 exhibiting galleries in its fifth edition in New York. This year’s fair, running May 3-5 during Frieze week with a VIP opening on May 2, marks 1-54’s first move to a new location in Manhattan—Industria.
